Saheed is a passionate, risk avert Internal
Control and Audit Expert with over 14 years
experience in Audit and Control.
He holds a bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in
Economics from the Olabisi Onabanjo University.
He is also an Associate member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountant of Nigeria.
He is proud of his ability to adapt to new
challenges and learn quickly. Throughout
his career, he has demonstrated resilience
and a willingness to take on new
responsibilities.
Memorable moments
Two highlights stand out for me
- Discovering my comedic talent: When I was appointed as MC for Tope’s sendoff, I surprised myself and others with my ability to make people laugh.
- Setting up Internal Audit: I successfully established the Internal Audit department from scratch, formed a competent team, and implementeda new audit process,resulting in significant efficiency gains and cost savings.
Lessons learnt
- Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Being flexible and adjusting to changing circumstances.
- Continuous learning: Staying up to date with industry developments and best practices
