About Me

I am a passionate, energetic, self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational, and creative skills with the urge to share knowledge and create value. I have industry experience cutting across both the Information Communications & Technology and Telecommunications in Systems Integration, IT Service Management, contract and partner management, product/solution sales and project management.

My tertiary education started with an undergraduate study in computer engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife from where I obtained a B.Sc degree. This was followed by a postgraduate study in Information Technology leading to an M.Sc. obtained from University of Lagos.

Career Growth and Development

My work experience started at iTECO Nigeria Limited (a subsidiary of Telnet Nigeria), and a leading systems integrator and technology solutions provider in the year 2001. The career journey started as a Trainee Engineer to a management position of Consultant at iTECO, heading the Network Service Delivery Unit, an Eight year period during which I took on functional and leadership responsibilities. I had the opportunity to manage major multi-million Naira projects for British Gas, Toyota Nigeria, Credit Reference Bureau, Central Bank of Nigeria, Celtel Nigeria Limited, Access Bank, Nigeria Agip Oil Company, MTN Communications, Nigeria NLNG, Guinness and Cadbury.

Subsequently, joined ipNX in 2008 as a Business Development Manager grew through the ranks from Manager, Senior Manager, Assistant General Manager to General Manager and just recently, the position of a Divisional CEO.

Core responsibilities during the last 10 year plus period involved overseeing day-to-day business operations and keeping Executive Management abreast of significant events. Business Goal Setting and Budgeting. Communicating strategy and policy to employees. Fostering employee alignment with corporate goals. Management company operations to meet budget and other financial goals. Oversee all administrative functions, ensuring smooth daily operations. Develop, establish, and direct the execution of operating strategies and policies to support overall company objectives.

Over my career years, I have acquired key professional certification in systems integration (Cisco, Microsoft), Network Management, IT service management (ITIL), project management (PRINCE2 practitioner) and a few others.

Why I am still with ipNX

In the first instance, the decision to join ipNX is what I still like about working for ipNX; and really, this is the overall reputation of the brand in the industry, in particularly, its futuristic innovation and community friendly standards in the quest to create value for stakeholders (customers, employees, shareholders and the community at large). There has always been the room explore your career horizon. ipNX pays a lot attention on individual development including professional improvement and career growth, one of such commitment had led to my obtaining an executive M.BA. This drive for personal development for its employee has been seen in opportunities given to me to take on high roles of responsibility with strong support and mentorship; this has continuously stirred self-development in the quest for career growth and success.

Aside Work

I have a passion for studying, particularly for development in Leadership, personal and career success and excellence. I have some leadership and mentorship responsibilities at my place of worship. Sporting activities, largely indoor games and Table Tennis. Of course, I love listening to music – RnB, Soul, Jazz and Instrumentals from the late 70s to early 90s. And a very good cook too.
